Supplemental Investigation Report
Location: Private Residence, Hastings MN 12/19/09

The team arrived at Juli’s residence about 2030-2045 for a brief meeting prior to the investigation. I arrived at the residence, a short distance from her residence about 2045. Due to my schedule, I was not able to attend the meeting. The team met me at approximately 2055 outside the residence where we unloaded the equipment and proceeded to meet with the owners and began setup.
It was predetermined that we, HPT, would begin a more thorough documentation of our investigations. Typically one designated member, Josh, provides this documentation. In his absence, it was agreed that Mark and myself would fulfill this function.
After formal introductions, we went into the kitchen to setup the DVR and establish a central command center. I assisted Judy setting up the DVR while Andrea, Mark and Juli placed cameras in an upstairs bedroom, on the stairway leading to the 2 nd floor, one in a porch, and the final in the kitchen area. Juli also suggested we set up some static audio recorders on the stairs and also in the upper bedroom. After initial camera placement, I proceeded to the stairs to adjust the camera placed there and set up an audio recorder. I then went into the upper bedroom to readjust the IR camera placed there and again set up a static recorder.
After the initial setup, I took the video camera we typically use for documentation while Mark used a Sony Video cam, which could record using night vision. Judy took up initial monitoring of the DVR while Andrea and Juli investigated the upper bedroom with Mark and I documenting.
The vigil began with Juli and Andrea investigating the upstairs bedroom. Andrea began by asking if anyone was in the area, after which Juli explained that if there was, they could speak into our recording devices. Juli went on to state that it had been reported that there was activity reported in the room. Juli then noted that even though the door to the bedroom was closed, it was still possible to hear the TV from the living room area below.
Andrea then asked if there was anyone around, to please lower the temperature in the room by using a thermal device she was carrying. The temperature at the beginning of the exercise was 71.4 degrees. The temperature then began fluctuating, but declining from that mean temperature. Andrea asked if whoever was around could please get the temperature to drop to 71.0 degrees. The temperature fluctuated for a time, but was not able to drop to the requested temperature.
Juli then asked if there were anyone around, and if it would be easier for them, she could use her dowsing rods to communicate with them. She explained that she would ask a question and then request that the rods be crossed as a way to communicate the answer. She began by asking if there was anyone else in the room besides the team and to please cross the rods. The rods crossed. Juli continued to ask a series of questions along with other team members including myself. These questions ranged from the sex of the entity(s), how many, if they remain there, etc. Juli also asked if the entity leaves the room, if they did so through a window in the bedroom?
Juli again asked if the entity could try and make the thermometer that Andrea was holding change temperature. Andrea moved closer to Juli with Mark focusing on the thermometer while I taped the experiment from a short distance away. Andrea stated that the temperature was 72.5 upon beginning the experiment. It almost immediately dropped to 72.2 immediately. The temperature fluctuated a bit more down then again climbed. Juli asked if there was another entity in the area to please help lower the temperature. Andrea then suggested that she move to a rug in the room, sit down and place the thermometer on the run in front of her. After the placement, she stated that she was now not near it and could make the task easier.
The temperature then, after immediately holding steady, began to drop rapidly to 69.4. Tim then asked if the thermometer could be moved more onto the rug to avoid any influence the floor could have. The thermometer did rise 2 tenths, then immediately dropped again to 69.4 degrees. Andrea kept trying to encourage the temperature to drop more, but then stated that it was hard work and thanked the entity for their hard work, to which all the investigators offered Thanks and Congratulations.
Andrea then asked if she could use the thermometer on the stairway. We all left the room and moved to the stairway area for Andrea to take some temperature readings. She traversed the stairs a couple of times moving the thermometer to different heights to see if there was any change. She found that there was no noticeable change or any EMF signals detected.
The team then moved back into the kitchen area for a short break and to get reassignments. I was stationed at the DVR due to Judy having to depart the investigation. After a short discussion, I took up watching the DVR while Juli and Andrea went to investigate the stairs with Mark providing documentation. After Mark left, Andrea took up a position about 1/3 of the way up the stairs. I noticed what appeared to be an orb that seemed to have it’s own travel path move towards Andrea, stop and hover over her head before moving off. I tried to contact the team members on the radio but was not able to. Andrea then came into the kitchen and asked if I was calling them. I then informed her of what happened and asked that she please take up position there too and requested she carry a radio with her. She agreed to go back and try the experiment again. I then radioed Juli who was now on the stairs and let her know that I wanted Andrea back on the stairs for a while. Andrea again began “clowning around” a bit while stationed on the steps. I then asked her to move down closer to the bottom of the stairs for a short time and wait there. I then mention something on my recorder that at about 2300 I heard something that sounded like an animal walking across the kitchen floor. It sounded like a dogs nails clicking while it walked. I latter remembered that the homeowners had locked up their two pet cats in the basement and it was them scratching at the door to be let up.
After watching some orb activity around Andrea and then saw it diminish, I asked Andrea to move down a couple more steps, which she did. I then tried calling while seated at the DVR because one of the areas noted by Juli was the kitchen. I then noticed some increased orb activity around Andrea on stairs; I called on the radio to see if she felt anything different. Juli answered me back that Andrea stated she felt like she was being watched. I noted that into my recorder as 1 min and 24 secs on the DVR. I again tried calling to see if I could get a response, but did not get anything to answer me or cause discernable sound.
I then asked Andrea to move up more towards the top of the stairs, which she did. I then noted on my recorder that Andrea called Juli up to where she was to do some work with the dowsing rods. Again I heard the scratching an announced on my recorder at about 00:08:12 on the DVR, and that it was the pets in the basement scratching on the door. At 00:10:00 Juli and Andrea both moved off the stairs and came back into the kitchen. Andrea stated that the rods began reacting in Juli’s hands briefly and then abruptly stopped. I then mentioned that there was something white near the bathroom door at the top of the stairs that suddenly shot off to the right, to which Mark stated that he also saw and captured the same thing on his video camera. Juli then mentioned that it would wise to go out into the porch area too after a short break and investigate there.
Mark and I then talked about the light at the top of the stairs and Mark agreed to try to go up to the bathroom door and try and debunk the anomaly we saw. He tried opening the door a couple of times and turning the light off at different times, but we were not able to recreate the occurrence. After Mark returned, I informed him I could not see any light at all from under the door to account for what we had seen. Mark then rewound the film in his camera for us to view the anomaly. Juli and Andrea returned and viewed the occurrence on Mark’s camera.
Andrea, Juli and Mark then went out onto the porch just off the kitchen to investigate that area while I stayed with the DVR. After about 15-20 minutes, Mark returned to the kitchen and informed me that Juli and Andrea were going to take a walk around the house. I noted on my recorder that at about 00:38:00 DVR time that I thought I heard what sounded like someone walking across the floor upstairs. When watching the DVR, I did not see anyone go up the stairs until after this occurrence. When Andrea and Juli returned, they asked if I saw anything. It was then I informed that just prior to them returning, I saw a movement indicator go on for the camera in the kitchen and saw the camera loose the picture for a few seconds. This occurred just prior to everyone occurring.
Andrea then asked if it might be worth checking out the stairs again. Tim agreed it may be worthwhile and requested that Andrea take the ghost meter EMF meter with her this time. Tim noticed on the DVR that as soon as Andrea took up position on the stairs at 00:44:00 that there was a lot of activity immediately after she sat down there again. As Juli and I sat there and talked a bit about what she experienced outside and watched the DVR when I informed her that a couple of times I thought I saw what looked like someone peering in through the door into the kitchen at me.
Juli then went out to give Andrea a radio so I could communicate her moving to other areas on the stairs. When she returned, we again discussed briefly what we had experienced and felt in the areas the team was located during the course of the investigation. After sitting on the stairs for about 15 minutes, Andrea called me on the radio to ask if there was any more activity, I informed her I did not see anything on the DVR. The team then decided that it was time to terminate the investigation for the evening.
