9:15 p.m. Arrived at Mississippi Belle attended introductions, briefing and assignments. Assigned with Juli to investigate the North building basement areas. Set DVR in upstairs ballroom (assembly area).
11:30 p.m. Arrived at assigned basement location with Juli, conducted investigation. Initially began our investigations in small room off of landing. No remarkable EMF readings. Joined by other members of Iowa team from time to time. No activity.
11:40 p.m. worked way around the basement, into corner area where Juli began to invite paranormal communication. Investigated area of the North basement by door to office on the other side (which was locked), and where Tim had activity last investigation. Nothing remarkable, except that Juli seemed to have a great deal of activity with her rods.
12:00 p.m. Returned to ballroom, sat with various team members, and at one point, Andrea and Juli attempted communication with rods. Again, Juli had a great deal of activity, Andrea did not have the same luck.
12:30 p.m. Joined Iowa team for a short time in basement/office area (where the shelf fell last investigation). Again, nothing remarkable.
1:50 p.m. returned to ballroom/dining room, assisted in break-down. Spoke with owner and other Iowa team members in the bar area regarding investigation and prior experiences they had.
2:15 p.m. Ended visit.
DVR RESULTS;
I thoroughly reviewed my DVR which ran for about 2 hours in the upstairs ballroom facing towards the stairway and door (opposite of the Iowa team’s wireless camera). Nothing unusual was captured. About ½ way through the videoing, an Iowa team member turned the lights off, and the video essentially went dark except for the doorway. The battery then went out, and the video stopped.
PERSONAL CONCLUSION:
No paranormal experiences witnessed by this writer. I (personally) do not believe the Mississippi Belle to be the situs of any paranormal activity.
I found the Iowa team to be interesting and fun to talk with. However, I also think that having the Iowa paranormal team join us greatly increased the traffic flow in and about the investigation areas, and at times, may have distracted our team.
