Location: A Private Residence in Hastings MN
Geomagnetic and Solar conditions: Geomagnetic Field - Quiet, Solar Activity - Normal

Hastings Paranormal Team Members Participating: Juli, Andrea Mark and Tim
Background Information:
The residents reported activity in several areas of the house. On the stairway, there has been a “shadow person” seen on many occasions and pictures have been flung off the wall. In the kitchen, a plate was seen to lift up by itself, hover and then crash to the floor. On the back porch, a wreath hanging on the back door was seen to swing back and forth of its own accord. In a child’s bedroom on the second floor, cold spot and shadows have been seen. Feelings of anxiety and being watched have been reported in that room as well. Even supposedly “non-sensitive” guests have commented on these feelings in this particular room.
Investigation:
: A pre-investigation briefing occurred at Juli’s home just a few houses down from the investigation site. The team then reconvened at the investigation location at 21:00 to start setting up equipment. We set up the DVR in the kitchen and made that location “command central”. Infrared cameras were set up in the kitchen, stairwell, back porch, and 2 nd floor child’s bedroom. We also placed digital recorders near each of the IR cameras. Each investigator carried a digital recorder with them and Mark carried a hand-held digital video camera and Andrea carried a combination Electro Magnetic Field detector/digital thermometer, and I carried my dowsing rods.
While Judy sat in the kitchen watching the monitors, we started our investigation in the 2 nd floor child’s bedroom. Andrea, Juli and Tim agreed that there were some intense feelings in this room especially near the window. Juli used her dowsing rods to try to communicate with any spirits present while Andrea asked any entities to make themselves known by manipulating the thermometer. There was no draft from the window since it was covered in clear plastic and there were no unusual EMF spikes. Mark and Tim documented the session.
Judy needed to leave at this point so Tim took her place at command central. Andrea swept the stairway for any high EMF readings, but got nothing unusual. She sat on the stairs about halfway up with Mark at the bottom of the stairs with the hand-held camera. Tim noticed on the monitor that a ball of light drifted up the stairs, over Andrea’s head. He tried contacting them by walkie-talkie, but they were not functioning properly. Andrea had to go into the kitchen to speak to him. After coming back, Andrea took a different radio and went back to the stairway. She mentioned that she felt as though she was being watched and Tim noticed more orb activity. This orb and light activity was also captured on the hand-held camera Juli tried communicating with any entities present with her dowsing rods with limited success.
After a short break, Andrea, Juli and Mark went out to the back porch. They all commented that they didn’t feel anything out there at all and speculated that perhaps vibrations of passing vehicles caused the wreath to move.
Mark, Andrea and Juli then went outside and around to the side of the house where they seemed to be following a series of EMF spikes to just under the window of the 2 nd floor child’s bedroom. Mark still carried the handheld camera and stated that he did not notice any activity through the camera lens with the exception of an odd “fogginess” only when looking up at this particular window.
Tim reported some strange activity on the monitors just after this.
Occurrences or Experiences: Almost all members sensed feelings of anxiety and of being watched in both the 2 nd floor child’s bedroom and stairway area. Strange light and orb activity was captured on the stairway and outside the 2 nd floor child’s bedroom window. A few EVP’s were recorded in the residence.

Conclusion...
The purpose of this investigation was to validate the claims of the residents and to assure them that the child’s bedroom was safe. While the team had several personal experiences and gathered a few pieces of evidence, further investigation is suggested to form more specific conclusions. No team members sensed any negative or malicious energy or feelings in or around the residence.
